Managing Director Profile:
William Blanchet has worked in the professional services industry since 1986. He possesses over twenty years of professional accounting, tax and technology consulting related experience. While he has spent most of his professional life working with small to mid-sized companies, he also possesses considerable experience working in a team setting within the large, fortune 500 companies. An Alumnus of Deloitte and Touche (now Deloitte.) and Coopers & Lybrand (now Pricewaterhouse Coopers), he spent the earlier years of his career, working as an accountant, in the banking industry.
Education and Certifications: He graduated from Rutgers University in 1981 with a Bachelors degree in Accounting, was licensed as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in 1987 and earned a Masters degree in Taxation (MST) from Widener University in 1998. In 2001, he obtained the AICPA Certified Information Technology Professional (CITP) certification. More recently, he successfully completed the Securities Industry Series 28 (FINOP) and Certified Regulatory and Compliance Professional (CRCP) certifications from FINRA and Wharton University, respectively.
